Perhaps you’re in Wayne! Pop into A Jeweled Menagerie,
which has lovely things for the home, the body, and of course, the feet:
The Katherine is a hand-sewn penny loafer
(provide your own pennies) with a soft natural liner (in fact, you get an extra
liner too!). Also available in gray, but
I love the orange! Yours for $165.
While you’re
in Wayne, you might head over to Solemate,
who pride themselves on “the latest comfort and quality-oriented footwear for
women.” They carry shoes by many
different designers, so you might see this pair there:
Gaaaa! Love!!!
The Wayte by Donald J. Pliner
is so fabulous in so many ways. Where do
I begin? The red staining on the stack
platform (one inch) and heel (4.5 inches).
There is the metallic snakeskin leather rimming the peep toe, the
toebed, and the strap around the heel.
There is the warm rust-colored suede over the foot. And lest you overlook it, the little touch of
yellow at the buckle. Awesome. If you can’t make it to Wayne, you can also
get them on Zappos
for $325.
If you’re in Exton,
you might try Frey Boutique,
which has all the clothes and accessories you could possibly want. Accessories like these:
The Sasha by Luxury Rebel is a very cool
sandal with straps in four different colors—and that’s just the yellow version,
shown here! The coral comes with straps
in four different colors. And isn’t the striping on the sole cool? Even better: they’re on sale for $20! Down from $100!
Main Line Boutique Week runs
through tomorrow. Go out! Have a fabulous time, support some local
businesses, and get yourself something beautiful to boot. (Ha ha!
Shoe pun!)

PS: Look at this awesome cupcake!
I got to go to the Style in the City lunch at the Loews Hotel on 12th and Market on Wednesday and they had these cupcakes for all the attendees. Some only had flowers, but some had these gumpaste sugared heels, and I thought of you all. :)
