Work Shoes

I was in Books-a-Million in the Gallery at Market East last week picking out books from their cheapo book racks (even though I need new books like I need new shoes... I have way more than I need!) when in one of the bins was this:
A shoe-shaped tape dispenser! A cute shoe, too—love the T-strap. I picked it up for $7 (you can find one for about $9 on Amazon if they’re sold out at Market East), and it got me thinking: if you wanted to fill your office with shoes that work, what are your options?

First of all, here’s a stiletto if you don’t like the wedge: There’s nothing like a sleek black pump at the office, is there? Yours for $11 from Amazon. Okay, so we’ve got the adhesives covered.

How about paper clips? How frikkin’ awesome are these? Bright pink high heel-shaped paper clips! They’re an inch long and you get 60 of them for a measly $3 from Office Depot.

Be the shoe fairy at your office and bestow one of these on all your co-workers:

If Cinderella had an office job! You get 48 of these little beauties for $12 from Party City.

Now that those pencils are sharpened, get them off your desk:

How lovely is this? I especially love the detail on the platform. Good for holding makeup brushes or your pens! Between $20 and $24 depending on the color (of which there are a ton to choose from, featuring butterflies, bows, and dragonflies); yours from Amazon.

Now let’s see... something to hold your business cards:

How I love these! And even better—she’ll make them in any color you want! Yours for $22 from Etsy seller Sunshine Ceramics.

And for your morning coffee or tea? One for you and one for your shoe-loving co-worker—but how to pick which one to keep and which one to give away? I love the graphic shoe prints from Just the Right Shoe (and look at the heel-shaped handles!). Yours for just under $20 from Amazon.

Now back to work!
