Charlotte Olympia Goes to the Beach

Every now and then while searching for shoes for a post, I stumble upon something so awesome I need to throw my post schedule to the wind and share it with you immediately.  Ladies, I give you a new collection of beach-themed shoes by Charlotte Olympia at Neiman Marcus right now.  Prepare to be amazed.

It’s a MERMAID, people.  A MERMAID.  In glitter fabric.  With a shell bra.  And a saucy ponytail.  And red lips.  And a rhinestone necklace and belly button.  This is AMAZING.  And from far away, it would just look like a glittery sandal in beachy colors.  The heel is 4.33 inches high, and an ankle strap and peep toe complete the look.  Yours for $1195.

The Good Gracious is coral!  Three tiers of coral spidering across your foot and tying with a little bow at the ankle.  How cool are these?!  It’s all suede, by the way.  The heel is 5.75 inches tall, but the platform is sizable so it won’t feel quite so tall.  Yours for $1495.

The Shore Thing has an anchor up the front made of seashells big and small—seriously, there are like five different types of shells on this!  There’s netting around the peep toe (nice touch), and ankle strap, and a 4.33-inch heel.  Yours for $1595.

The Seaside Dolly Sue is just the perfect shade of blue, isn’t it?  But it’s the little starfish at the toe that makes it special—it’s goldtone with itty-bitty curled up starfish legs and dotted with rhinestones.  Those little legs just get me.  It’s finished with a 5.75-inch heel, giant platform, and round toe.  Yours for $945.

The Elsa Lobster T-Strap has a delicately beaded orange lobster up the front of a black sandal.  And can we just appreciate for just a second that the lobster is holding on to the ankle strap with his claws?!  Amazing.  The heel is 4.33 inches and strikingly skinny—plus the black is a nice contrast to the warm orange.  Yours for $1495.
