Fall Trend: Stacked Heels

Stilettos always have a place in a shoe wardrobe—but not this season! This fall the heel silhouette pendulum is swinging firmly to the chunky side, so be sure to stock up on stack heels. And hey, you get a little extra stability mixed with your fashion. I love these—so mod and so classic at the same time! The Walden by Rocket Dog has a four-inch heel and an upper totally covered in black and white houndstooth—not to mention the knit flower detail! Perfect. Find them at Macy’s for just over $63.

Let’s brighten things up a bit:

The Haiku is a suede peep-toe pump with a five-inch heel and 1.25-inch platform in a serious blue! Also available in black; find them at Steve Madden for about $91. 

How about something a little menswear-inspired? The Levity by Nicolo is a kiltie pump in nice taupe (or black) patent leather, with a four-inch heel. They’re just under $75 and available at DSW.

Let’s open things up a bit: The Jeb by BCBGMAXAZRIA are super-strappy burgundy suede sandals with a four-inch heel and a half-inch platform. Order yours from Zappos for $250.

How about ruffles? The Jemma by Dream Out Loud by Selena Gomez have three ruffles around its 2.25-inch heel and a nice strap and buckle across the front. (And round-toe boots are always so cute!) Find them at Kmart for $35. 

You know what this post is lacking? Sequins. More sequins!
