Shoe Makeup

Shoes are a bit of a phenomenon.  We know this.  But I was still a little surprised when I opened a magazine and saw this:

It’s blush!  With three colors in the shape of a shoe!  And with a little shoe charm on the side!  And Physicians Formula didn’t just put some pink powder in there and call it a day; it’s got subtle shimmer, the scent of vanilla, and, er, pheromone-mimicking ingredients so you’ll really be irresistible. 

That got me thinking: what else is out there, shoe/makeup-wise?  Well, a makeup bag, for starters:

So cute!  A pair of pink stilettos and a small bouquet of lilies grace the side of this satin makeup bag.  It has a black zipper on the top and measures 7” by 4”, though it is Zazzle so it comes in about twenty different sizes.  This version, though, runs $26.

A makeup mirror:

Something to hold your makeup brushes, of course:

I wish this shoe existed—it’s adorable!  This one, though, is angled to hold your makeup brushes in place.  It has a pink and black polka dot upper and heel, and the front is topped by a fabric bow with rhinestone detail!  Available from Jewelry Nanny for $18.

Okay, these are amazing.  This pair by Pleaser may look like just another sexy lace-up platform shoe until you look at the heel, which (aside from being 5.5 inches high) is made of a bright red, rhinestone-bedecked plastic lipstick!  Amazing.  Yours for $62 from Amazon.
