Snowlar Vortex

Okay, Mother Nature.  You can just stop this now.  It’s been winter for barely five weeks and you’ve already sent us three snowstorms and two polar vortexes.  This last one was both.  And you’re sending more snow soon!  Just stop it.

But just in case she doesn’t, here are some snow boots that might help you get by.  Lord knows when this will stop!

The Gwen X Fairisle Snowboot by MUK LUKS reminds me of cozy sweaters, with its red and white print.  They’ll keep your feet cozy, anyway, with the faux fur collar and lining!  Also, I heart the red and white red stripey laces.  That’s a nice touch!  Yours for $102 from 6pm.

When it’s dark and cold, add a little pink to your life with the Women’s Snow Boots by Corky’s.  How can this color not make you smile?  Plus it’s lined with faux wool, to keep your toesies toasty.  They’re a steal at $36 from Overstock.

Ooh, I like these!  The Stormy Boot by Alegria is a classic rubber duck boot, but with a beautiful orange and brown paisley print.  And look at the little butterfly on the 1.5-inch heel!  The laces have a… what do we call that?  A toggle?  I think it’s a toggle.  Also available in all black, but… why?  Winter’s already dreary enough.  Find them at Zappos for $100.

The Shellista Lace Lux by The North Face is style for the snow!  It has a sweater knit upper with a water-repellant coating so water doesn’t seep in, a faux fur collar, insulation, lots of grip… and I love the blue laces.  (Kudos to all these snow boot designers who play with the laces!)  Yours for $167 from Shoebuy.

Okay everyone, stay warm, stay safe, and see you Tuesday, provided Mother Nature doesn’t hit us again before then!
