Super Bowl

I am a huge fan of the Super Bowl—far huger than you might think given how little I watch football.  I love Big Events.  You already know my love of the Olympics—winter and summer.  There’s something so awesomely weird about stopping a sporting match in the middle to have an enormous concert.  And who doesn’t love nachos?  Come on, everyone loves nachos.  If you say you don’t, you’re lying.

Don’t lie to me.

So who will win?  The Patriots?

The Patriots?

This pair of sneakers is really quite striking: the bright blue, the bold stripes, the sparkles (of course!), the Patriots logo charm on the laces.  Simple, practical, stylish—a winner!  Yours for $70 from the Bradford Exchange.

The Seahawks?

These beauties are the Crusader Bootie by Cuce.  The vamp is blue velvet, adorned with a Seahawks logo made entirely from crystals; the lining is cheetah (awesome!); the four-inch heel is skinny and silver.  Yours for $110 from the NFL Shop.

Personally, I say GO SEAHAWKS!  Why?  Since I grew up in New York, by law I have to hate the Patriots.  Plus the Seahawks aren’t dirty, dirty cheaters.  So GO SEAHAWKS, I SAY!
